FR|Rick Owens x Birkenstock Collaboration Event in Paris

BIRKENSTOCK opened a pop up at department store, “Le Bon Marche” in Paris launching their second collaboration with Rick Owens. At the opening reception on Jan. 17, more than 250 guests including famous Japanese model, Rola were present. In addition, Rick and his wife, Michèle Lamy along with BIRKENSTOCK CEO Oliver Reichert were also present as the organizers. The popup decor uses materials such as black cork, wool felt and natural rubber used in creating the BIRKENSTOCK shoes. Olivier Zahm, the founder and editor of fashion magazine "Purple", took a photo of the event further highlighting the second installment of the collaboration.


Collaboration items uses a combination of different materials and colour blocks on the "ARIZONA" sandal in black and silver or gold foil and the  "ROTTERDAM" sandal in leather and Velcro and also the "ROTTERHIKER" boots with buckles showcased on black cork. Retail price starts from 50,000 yen to 91,000 yen (excl.tax).
