HUNTING WORLD and England’s Rugby head coach, Eddie Jones have joined together in celebration for the 2019 Rugby World Cup to launch two limited bags in the collection "BATTUE-EDDIE JONES" this September.
HUNTING WORLD has approached Eddie to create a bag that is aligned with the brand’s DNA, as brand founder, Robert M. Lee and Eddie Jones have a common indestructible amount of passion in what they do. Based on the the brand’s iconic model collection, BATTUE SURPASS, the collaboration comes in a "carry all" and "tote bag" both retailing to 190,000 yen (tax excluded). The bags have an elliptical imprint of a rugby ball and its stitching that frame the edges to create a straightforward reference in a sober ash-based gray leather material along with Eddie's own touch of a bold red lining. "I feel very honoured to be involved with a brand like HUNTING WORLD. Which I’m sure rugby supporters will also be pleased by the craftsmanship. My role was trivial in the creation. I chose red for the lining of the bag as it represents a tailoring aspects of Britain and it’s a positive colour as well that I think goes hand in hand with the sport," said Eddie. Speaking of which this is Eddie's first fashion-related collaboration. “So far, that’s all for fashion related collabs.” He chuckled.
