Longchamp celebrating its 70th anniversary paired up with designer, Shayne Oliver (the founder of Hood by Air) releasing a capsule collection. To commemorate this, a pop-up is opening at Isetan Shinjuku department store from May 9th to May 13th.
Using Longchamp’s iconic tote collection, Le Pliage® as a rendition, items range of various leather goods, footwear, and garment bags.
Shayne Oliver time and again uses themes related to current trends, possibilities, movement, and forward thinking which is reflected in this collaboration:
"Freeing oneself from the busy everyday, and traveling to your heart’s content". The capsule collection embraces this using graphic slogans such as "REALNESS" and "HIATUS" which translates as taking ‘a break’ in activities while the other meaning business.
