On April 20th, Ron Herman’s concept store, ‘RHC Ron Herman’ opened at Lazona Kawasaki Plaza which marks as the fifth shop in Japan. The store area is about 682 square metres that includes a cafe and sells mens and womens wear, jewelry, and lifestyle goods. Out of all five shops, this is the first time a mens jewelry corner was commissioned.
To celebrate the day of the launch, London-based illustrator Joe Cruz was invited to open a workshop there to mark his signature oil pastel engravings on guest’s black and white taken photographs. Not only that but three other global sign painters were also invited to etch the initials of guests as a thanks to those who’ve purchased an item on that day. In addition, the Kawasaki store held a pop-up of CANADA GOOSE for a limited time until May 6th, along with the spring summer 2018 collection, ‘WIND’, which is normally only sold directly at Canada Goose. It’s estimated that the sales in the first year of the Kawasaki store is about **1 billion yen.
