Japan｜Amuro Namie Becomes the First Japanese Celebrity Featured On VOGUE JAPAN Cover
For the first time in VOGUE Japan, a Japanese female celebrity appears on the cover of the October Issue -- Amuro Namie, who will retire from the music scene in September this year. As Japan's lead pop singer, Amuro Namie has influenced most of Asia with her beauty and style trends that started in the 90s. Wearing the SAINT LAURENT 2018 autumn and winter collection for VOGUE’s cover page in black and white which is the first time since July 2001. This issue features the paradigm of her career that lasted 25 years where she voices out her feelings and messages before her withdrawal from the music world. A definite must-have for Namie aficionados. The issue will be available on August 28 in Japan.
