Japanese model and beauty influencer, Kazuho Ishida launches her new cosmetic brand la peau de gem. She has been active in the fashion industry as a "reader model" (a former frequent viewership of a magazine who becomes a model) since she was a student. After leaving her job in a company, she became a freelance PR agent. By uploading videos about makeup tutorial and product review, she has gained over 120,000 followers on Instagram.

la peau de gem means "jewel skin" in French, implying that products are not made to cover up the skin, but to bring out one’s beauty and letting it shine. Launching products that can be used on sensitive skin, the brand also pays effort to lower product pricing so that customers can have a wider choice to match their mood or outfit of the day. The first product to launch is the "gemini lipstick" (1280 yen + tax),  a lip tint in a portable size that comes in 2 shades: orange-brown and reddish brown, available on the official website.
