Onitsuka Tiger X COOHEM Collaboration, Using Knit Tweed

ASICS JAPAN owned by Onitsuka Tiger, is collaborating with COOHEM to create original knit tweed shoes. COOHEM is Yonetomi Seni Co.’s first in-house brand based in Yamagata prefecture. As a long-established knit maker, it uses sophisticated programs to create unique, innovative fabrics which is highly acclaimed in the industry and overseas.

The shoe is based on the basketball shoe model, FABRE NIPPON, and the low cut version, FABRE NIPPON LO. The COOHEM knit tweed is applied to the upper, using woven varieties of colourways in red and navy, finished on a white base bringing warmth to the design. They come in all sizes for women and men with the price range of 29,000 yen to 34,000 yen. Available on April 20th, on sale at ‘Onizuka Tiger Magazine Online Store’.
