US|nonnative Designs Uniforms for Santa Monica Ippudo Ramen Store

The Japanese brand “nonnative” established in 1999 designed uniforms to commemorate the opening Hakata ramen shop “Ippudo” in Santa Monica. The series focuses on military style elements using olive green as its base, in jackets, pullovers, overalls, T-shirts, scarves and many more. The brand takes into consideration with the working environment of the ramen shop, using quality lightweight, quick-drying nylon fabric, also adding designs that improve the ventilation of the jackets made by cutting into the armpits. The various pocket designs applied for storing memos or pens reflects the “nonnative style” providing functionality and detailed craftsman. Other than the military green, T-shirts have two colorways in said colour and in light beige.The uniforms from Ippudo ramen New York store were created by Engineered Garments and the first physical store opened in Paris was designed by Mihara Yasuhiro. This time, nonnative is participating in created a full coordinated look including the shoe design. Products range from 2,800 yen to 38,000 yen (tax excluded) and is sold exclusively at Ippudo Santa Monica store and COVERCHORD for a limited time.
