British luxury department store, Harrods now carries Japanese Natural haircare products, uka starting Nov. 5. This will be the first time for uka as a Japanese independant hair care brand to enter Harrods department store. The brand became popular in the states in 2016 when it was first introduced its scalp hair care treatment that obtained effective results.
Mia Collins of Beauty GMM (General Merchandise Manager) who was looking for never-before seen brands and merchandises as a way to remodel the Harrods beauty floor, came to Japan to discover uka. Visitors are able to locate the haircare corner on the 5th floor to experience the largest salon space to offer in the UK for a hair appointment using uka spa treatments. In order to encourage people globally to enjoy "uka" methods and products, local uka staff spa specialist will hold seminars on how to effectively treat the scalp and hair. Currently only available at Harrods.
